The World Changing Hope of Easter
The hope of humanity changed forever one particular Sunday morn with the surprising discovery of two women. Easter. Check it out.
Cohabitation and Family Stability
According to the new World Family Map 2017, an international research project that Focus on the Family helped start, children across the globe born to cohabiting parents are twice as likely to see their parents end that relationship and enter at least one new one. This is significant considering that family stability is one of the most important components of child health and well-being.
Additional information on how cohabiting relationships are much less healthy than marital relationships can be found in this helpful book, The Ring Makes All the Difference.
The Fact of Christ’s Resurrection
Let us grant that the apostles, including Paul, did believe in a literal, datable, physical resurrection and transformation of Jesus; were they correct? Can we, who live in the sophisticated, contemporary world of astrophysics, microbiology and computer science, also believe in the resurrection? Yes, we can and should. Many millions do.
The historic disappearance of the body, the reappearance of the Lord, and the emergence of the church together constitute a solid foundation for believing in the resurrection.
